Syria and Alleppo prayer for peace.

Syria and Alleppo prayer for peace.
I wrote this to the tun of Amazing Grace.
Your glorious buildings, once so grand, are crumbling walls of fear.
Where once a beautiful town of wealth did stand there's nothing left but dust.
Your people all displaced across the world, have fled because of war.
Their shattered dreams and loved ones gones, their plight is clear to see.

No one knows why this war commenced or how it came to be, but all is lost and all displaced there'll be no victory.
Your/Our tears fall in one big pool of despair and misery. Yet in this place where hope seems lost with love life shall spring a new.
For Jesus walked in syria and in Alleppo too, he's there right now, if we look in the eyes of those we see.
For he was like you a refugee and he was poor like you.
He and his parents had to flee from danger just like you.
Chorus perhaps
So bow your heads, or bend of knee, or just close your eyes like me, and pray for peace like me.
Lets pray for peace so that people lost and displaced can find love once again.
To dry your tears and see you smile, to help you live again.
For if we like Jesus loved each other how great this world would be.
We'd be at one again and sing to our God, sing in one accord. To God the Great the Good.
It matters not what you faith you trust, God loves us equally.

Legal Side

When the words flow onto paper they are not my words, they are his words, they don't belong to me and I would ask that you don't claim them as your own.

I am trying to gift them to those I feel they where written for.

If you can think of a tune or want to put them to music, let me hear it, but you couldn't claim his words, only your own tune.

I'll feel emotionally well enough soon to try a few tunes my self. For now just respect that no one but God owns the words.
